So the upcoming Wireless Finalmouse (Starlight Phantom) will make a series of improvements and adjustments from the Starlight-12. They took to twitter to tweet about what they have planned
The most important changes are the newbinned Kailh GM 8.0 switches which will replace the old Omron 20Ms.
- The wheel will be centered
- Mylar pads controlling click tolerance will be better
- The magnesium will be better tensioned on the upper
- Reduced dead zone and warp on the metal
- Customizable LOD support will be added
- Encoder debounce will be added
As of right now the planned release date for the Ultralight Phantom is slated for November 8, 2021. In the meanwhile your only shot to buy the existing Finalmouse-12 colors is through third party sites.
